Big Five Foods is on the National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP) pathway with South Africa’s Department of Basic Education. The ambition is to feed 2.5 million children per day with fortified porridges and soya minces.
That figure is the planned scale as the programme ramps: not a current daily headcount, and not an awarded tender. Menu approval is not a contract.
